New Charges of Sexual Assault Against R. Kelly Arise

New sexual assault charges have been filed this week against singer-songwriter, R. Kelly. This includes eleven additional felony counts of sexual abuse against the singer.

The charges derive from one of the four victims who were allegedly sexually abused by the Kelly several years ago.

The current indictment refers to a woman who is recognized as J.P. who has identified herself as Jerhonda Pace. Prosecutors said that J.P., met the singer when she was 16 in 2008 during his trial for child pornography, which he was acquitted.

In February, he had been charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse that included Pace and three other underage victims.
