Week 4 of Nike’s NYvsNY went down in Dyckman last night.
As we head into the Final Four of the 2023 Summer season, Tristate took on Gersh to kick things off. The Brooklyn team proved their dominance over Tristate from the jump, outperforming them in nearly all four quarters.
Gersh would eventually win, 67 to 51.
Closing out the evening, Dyckman looked to protect home court against W4th, who were hungry for an upset. It was a game of runs that could have gone either way. Both teams refused to back down and gave it 100% all the way to the final buzzer. Literally.
Late calls, free throws, and solid defense secured a home-court win as Dyckman earned their spot in the Final Four with a 57-54 win.
Once again, we’re reminded that there’s nothing quite like basketball in the Summertime, in New York City. And of course, nothing like ballin’ in a pair of Nikes.
