The Swoosh Classic made its return this past weekend at Christ the King High School in Queens New York. Nike promised an action-packed day, showcasing the best high school basketball talent in New York City.
Securing their reputations as the best of the best across the City and nationwide, players like Ian Jackson, Don Roscoe, Brady Laughlin, Kevin Kearney, Jakai Sanders, Kayla Barr, Ariel Little, Olivia Vukosa, Maddy McDaniel, and Jayden Holman, put on a clinic for the packed-out gym.
The highly anticipated match-ups between schools like Eagle Academy Brooklyn vs. South Shore, Christ the King vs. Bishop Loughlin, and Don Bosco Prep vs. Our Savior Lutheran National were all movie-worthy, down to the final buzzer.
If you’ve been following these young athletes throughout the year, including their NYvsNY runs during the Summer, you already know how intense these games can get. Never short on talent, these college-bound athletes put their fancy footwork, buttery-smooth jump shots, and ball-handling skills on display.
