Rihanna is not fucking with the NFL. According to reports, she declined performing at the Super Bowl in support of Colin Kaepernick.
“I couldn’t dare do that. For what? Who gains from that? Not my people. I just couldn’t be a sellout. I couldn’t be an enabler,” the singer explains in a recent interview with Vogue Magazine.
While she is currently managed by Roc Nation who is collaborating with the NFL in social justice initiative, Rihanna has no plans to work with NFL in any form of fashion.
The 31-year-old singer/songwriter goes on to say “There’s things within that organization that I do not agree with at all and I was not about to go and be of service to them in any way.”
