Snoop Dogg & Pete Davison Join Peyton & Eli Manning as 2023 NFL Pro Bowl Captains

Pro Bowl 2023

Last year, Snoop Dogg gave a legendary performance during the Super Bowl Halftime Show. This year, the Hip Hop OG returns as one of the NFL Pro Bowl captains. Snoop will join Peyton and Eli Manning as well as Pete Davison! Representing the AFC team will be Snoop and former quarterback, Peyton. Aside from his performance, Snoop has always had connections with the sports world – he even has his own youth football league! So it’s no surprise he’s involved. Playing as the adversary, Pete teams up with Eli Manning to represent the NFC squad.

“I’m comin’ back to the NFL field, but this time, instead of performing, I’m going head-to-head with Pete and competing for the title of The Pro Bowl Games Champion.” – Snoop Dogg

Patrick Mahomes is also slated to suit up for the AFC team as their starting quarterback with Josh Allen (Bills) and Joe Burrow (Bengals) serving as backup QBs. On the NFC side, Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles will get the start while Geno Smith (Seahawks) and Kirk Cousins (Vikings) also join as backups.

As an organization, the Philadelphia Eagles will be sending the most Pro Bowlers, totaling eight, including SIX starters. On the receiving end will be A.J. Brown, joined by guard Landon Dickerson, tackle Lane Johnson, center Jason Kielce, pass rusher Haason Reddick, running back Miles Sanders, and cornerback Darius Slay.

The Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs will both be sending seven Pro Bowlers with Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers sending six, and the Minnesota Vikings, five.

Commencing in just a few weeks on February 5th, the 2023 NFL Pro Bowl Game will be held at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The annual match-up, which hosts a roster of NFL stars, has eventually evolved throughout the years. Last year, the NFL announced that the Pro Bowl would switch to being a non-contact flag football game starting in 2023. It would also feature various “athletic tests” that will challenge players in events like a side-by-side relay race, a strength test, and a reception skills test.
