WWE 2K24 Unveils Cover Stars and 40 Years of WrestleMania Celebration

2K has announced the cover stars for WWE 2K24, set to launch on March 8, 2024. “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes headlines the Standard Edition, while Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair share the Deluxe Edition cover, a first for women on a WWE 2K cover. The special Forty Years of WrestleMania Edition marks the event’s 40th anniversary.

Cody Rhodes expressed his joy, saying, “Being named WWE 2K cover Superstar is very close to the top of that list.” The Forty Years of WrestleMania Edition features a collage of past and present stars, celebrating the event’s rich history.

WWE 2K24 brings advancements like the “2K Showcase…of the Immortals,” showcasing 40 years of WrestleMania moments. The game includes new match types, an extensive roster, and improved graphics. Greg Thomas, President at Visual Concepts, praised the team’s work on the game.

Notable features include the iconic roster, new match types, gameplay upgrades, and modes like MyGM, MyFACTION, and MyRISE. The Creation Suite allows customization, and a Peacock™ Promotion offers new subscribers one month free with any WWE 2K24 edition.

The game offers four editions: Standard, Standard Cross-Gen Digital, Deluxe, and Forty Years of WrestleMania. Pre-ordering the Standard Edition grants access to the Nightmare Family Pack, featuring four playable Superstars. Digital pre-orders include WWE 2K23 Standard Edition.
