Drake released three albums this morning in one of the largest surprise drops of his career, unveiling Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour simultaneously across streaming platforms.
The release expands what had been promoted for months as a single studio album rollout centered on Iceman. Fans learned late Thursday during his “Iceman” livestream series that the project would instead arrive as a three-part collection.
According to music outlets including Pitchfork and Rolling Stone, the albums feature collaborations with Future, 21 Savage, Sexyy Red, and PartyNextDoor, alongside production from Boi-1da, Ovrkast, and Tay Keith.
The triple release arrives after a prolonged promotional campaign that included Toronto ice sculptures, livestream teases, and cryptic social media posts tied to the Iceman branding.
Industry attention around the albums intensified following Drake’s widely publicized feud with Kendrick Lamar in 2024. The Associated Press reported earlier Friday that Iceman was viewed by some analysts as a critical test of Drake’s cultural standing following the rivalry and Lamar’s Grammy-winning diss track “Not Like Us.”
The albums mark Drake’s first solo releases since 2023’s For All the Dogs and follow his 2025 collaborative project with PartyNextDoor, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U.
