Denver Nuggets vs. Miami Heat, Game 4 Preview

The Denver Nuggets needed a bounce-back game this past Wednesday after Miami took a win in the previous match-up. The Nuggets delivered, defeating Miami 109-94. Tonight, Game 4 of the 2023 NBA Finals will tip off, with Jokic and the team now having won 11 of the last 13 match-ups against Miami. Currently, the Nuggets are 14-4 in the postseason, and 5-3 on the road. As for Miami, they are 13-8 in the postseason with a 7-3 winning record on their home floor. They have now, however, lost three in a row when hosting.

The Nuggets turned things around in Game 3 and continue to be the favorites to win it all. Despite Jokic not winning this season’s MVP award, he sure as hell is playing like one in this series. In their epic comeback on Wednesday, Jokic logged in his 10th triple-double, in the postseason, finishing with 32 points, 21 (massive) rebounds, and 10 assists.

On the flip side, Miami has been that underdog team all season that continues to fight and prove that they’re a force to be reckoned with. Leading the way is Jimmy Butler who is coming off a 28-point performance alongside Bam Adebayo who scored 22 points and 17 rebounds in 41 minutes of play time last game. This dynamic duo could help the Heat tie the series.

Game 4 tips off tonight on ABC at 8:30 p.m. est.
