This issue is dedicated to survivors of domestic violence. Under no circumstances, is it ever acceptable to abuse women in any form or fashion. We don’t care if it’s emotional or financial, it is just as damaging, if not more, than a closed fist. It is intolerable behavior on every level, but especially within our community.
Black women love, support, and defend us throughout their lives. They are the cornerstone of our society, and for that alone, they should be loved and cherished. At the minimum, we should protect them as they have done for us since the beginning of time.
They are our mothers, sisters, daughters, and best friends so trust me when I say that if you abuse women, the world would be a better place without you.
