West London singer, songwriter, and producer Grace Acladna will release her new six-track EP, “GUARD,” on Oct. 23.
Written and primarily produced by Acladna, the project blends alternative R&B, electronic production, and layered instrumentation as she explores love, faith, rebirth, and self-discovery. “Attention,” produced by Tev’n, is the only track not produced by Acladna. Turkish Dcypha mixed and mastered the EP.
“Guard is a short story of my life thus far, and a small offering for the gift of being alive,” Acladna said. “It starts at the end and beginning, with birth/rebirth.”
The project also reflects her spiritual journey and the process of rebuilding self-trust.
“For me, God’s love taught me and reminded me how to love myself,” she said. “The title track, ‘GUARD,’ is fundamentally about God’s love.”
Raised in Hounslow, West London, Acladna developed her artistry while attending the BRIT School. Her work has received coverage from Clash, The FADER, Wonderland, Quip, and The Line of Best Fit.
Her breakout song, “London,” was featured on the soundtrack for the film “BrOTHERHOOD.” More recent releases include “Mothers Car,” “Attention,” and the self-produced “Reasons” featuring Shivum Sharma.
With “GUARD,” Acladna continues to build on her sound while placing personal growth and spirituality at the center of the music.
“GUARD” arrives Oct. 23.
