Jason Statham Returns as Adam Clay in ‘The Beekeeper 2,’ Opening January 2027

Jason Statham is returning as Adam Clay in “The Beekeeper 2,” the sequel to the action thriller that introduced audiences to the former operative with ties to a covert organization known as the Beekeepers.

The film is set to arrive exclusively in theaters Jan. 15, 2027.

In the sequel, Clay is pulled back into conflict when the Beekeeper organization goes rogue and sets its sights on gaining control of the government. Forced to confront the organization that helped shape him, Clay must take on some of the same people and methods he once represented.

Timo Tjahjanto directs “The Beekeeper 2” from a screenplay by Kurt Wimmer and Zak Penn. Wimmer also wrote the story and created the characters the film is based on.

Statham leads the cast alongside Pom Klementieff, Jemma Redgrave, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Adam Copeland, and Bobby Naderi. Yara Shahidi and Jeremy Irons also appear in the film.

Statham, Chris Long, and Wimmer serve as producers. Jonathan Glickman, Thom Zadra, Alexandra Loewy, Rachael Cole, and David Ayer are executive producers. Anthony M. Scott, Spencer Ela, and Asa Sims serve as co-producers.

“The Beekeeper 2” continues Clay’s story as he faces a threat tied directly to his past, raising the stakes from a personal mission to a battle involving the organization that once gave him purpose.

“The Beekeeper 2” opens only in theaters Jan. 15, 2027.
