Keke Palmer Releases New Single “My Confession” Ahead of Album “Just Keke”

Multi-hyphenate artist Keke Palmer released her new single, “My Confession,” globally today through Big Bosses Entertainment in partnership with SRG-ILS Group (Virgin Music Group/UMG).

The track marks the second release from her upcoming album Just Keke, scheduled to drop Friday, June 20, 2025.

“My Confession, I mean… yea. I don’t like to say much, but music for me is a way to express myself and the things I need to get out, but don’t always want to say, but will sing,” Palmer said.

Originally conceptualized by Bryan-Michael Cox, Jermaine Dupri, and Usher Raymond, the new version features writing from Tayla Parx, Kameron Glasper, and Palmer. Production credits include Jeia, Albin Tengblad, and Parx.

Just Keke is the mark of a new era for me,” Palmer said. “An evolution of everything I had to be and become to survive and grow as a person and artist. It’s all about fragmentation and the path to integration.”

Palmer said the project was developed alongside her longtime friend and creative partner, Tayla Parx.

“This project is a raw, emotional journey of me facing myself, my love, my vulnerability, my relationships, and my truth,” she said. “My hope is that it takes you to a place of remembrance.”

“My Confession” follows the first single from Just Keke and continues Palmer’s foray into self-driven storytelling through music.
