Seattle-born R&B singer Jaymin has released a new music video for “Rollin,” the latest single from his forthcoming EP, “STATIC.”
The black-and-white video centers on the emotional uncertainty at the heart of the song, following Jaymin through scenes of intimacy, confrontation, and distance as a relationship appears to unravel. The stripped-down visual keeps the focus on the singer and the tension between desire, confusion, and loss.
“Rollin,” released in August, has approached half a million streams and drawn attention from R&B and music outlets, including Rated R&B, VIBE, 1883 Magazine, and EARMILK. EARMILK described the track as a “cathartic R&B banger.”
The single continues Jaymin’s focus on emotionally candid R&B, pairing romantic uncertainty with polished melodies and a contemporary, sensual production style.
The video arrives ahead of “STATIC,” which is scheduled for release Sept. 18 through Warner Records. The EP explores themes of desire and doubt, intimacy and independence, and the difficulty of deciding when to remain in a relationship and when to move on.
For Jaymin, the project also represents a willingness to foreground vulnerability rather than the emotional distance that often shapes contemporary R&B. Across the songs, he examines relationships without presenting their conflicts as easily resolved.
