Lawyer Accused of Bribery in Trey Songz Sexual Assault Case

According to TMZ, a woman named Mariah Thielen has alleged that the lawyer of Juahara Jeffries offered her between $100,000 and $200,000 to bear false witness against Trey Songz.

Instead, Theilen contacted Trey Songz’s lawyer and revealed the offer in court.

Jeffries’ lawyer Ariel Mitchell accused Theilen of committing perjury, denying the allegations.

“We’re highly confident and certain the court will find the witness committed perjury. Parties are still awaiting the judge’s further instructions on how to proceed given the witness’s inconsistent testimony during the hearing,” Mitchell explained.

However, Mitchell’s partner George Vrabeck previously withdrawn from the case, citing the Florida Rules for Professional Conduct.

Previously, Vrabeck and Mitchell suffered an embarrassing loss when it was revealed that a client in a similar case against Chris Brown seemingly had fabricated her version of the events.

Brown released a series of text messages and one voice message that contradicted their client’s allegations.

Vrabeck and Mitchell withdrawn from that suit, Vrabeck claiming, “We were not made aware that the information existed (prior to filing). It precludes us from going forward for a number of reasons. It’s not a comment on whether an assault happened or not, but it precludes us from going forward.”

With the case likely to be dismissed, Brown has indicated that he will be taking legal action against his accuser.
