Multiple fans recently witnessed Carolina Panthers Quarterback Cam Newton offer a man $1,500 for his seat during a flight in coach, to which the man declined.
Newton had realized that his seat was not comfortable for his 6’5” stature, so as someone in his position is easily able to do, he tried to pay a man with more legroom for his seat. The failed attempt was caught on video and has since gone viral.
The former league MVP player, who is well known for his distinctive fashion sense, was on his way back to the U.S from Men’s Fashion Week in Paris.
There is explanation at press time as to why the man denied the star’s proposition.
Cam Newton had reportedly undergone an arthroscopic procedure on his right shoulder back in January.
Due to physical complications, he was unable to play during the final two weeks of the 2018 season.
