In an exciting release, today saw the debut of a new single by Joyner Lucas, a two-time Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist. This track, titled “Seventeen,” is the latest addition to his upcoming album, “Not Now, I’m Busy.”

“Seventeen” showcases Joyner’s artistry by skillfully reimagining the 2011 hit “Donald Trump” by the late Mac Miller. It serves as a heartfelt tribute to the iconic rapper, with Joyner starting the song’s introduction by acknowledging Mac Miller with a “Rest In Peace Mac Miller” tribute.

To complement this announcement, Joyner has unveiled a music video for “Seventeen,” which you can view below. The video was filmed at his new venture, “Oh Wow Frozen Yogurt and Smoothies,” located in Northborough, Massachusetts, near his hometown. Joyner Lucas extended an invitation to all his fans to join in the celebration of the establishment’s grand opening.

Reflecting on the inspiration behind this project, Joyner shared, “The first time I ever heard Mac Miller was the ‘Donald Trump’ record. As soon as I heard the sample and how he reimagined it, I instantly became a fan. That beat became one of my all-time favorite samples. Being able to reinterpret that sample in my own unique way while paying homage to Mac Miller is a meaningful experience. I only wish he were here to hear it. Looking back to when I was seventeen, it’s surreal to see my childhood dreams becoming a reality. Through my music, I aspire to inspire others, just as Mac did.”
