“Wherever u r” is a touching song where UMI and V take turns singing about loving someone from afar. Originally, UMI wrote it for her faraway grandmother in Japan. When V joined in, the song gained more depth, becoming about separation in general. They decided to work together after chatting about making music and turned it into a beautiful duet that speaks to everyone who’s apart from someone they care about.
