The 2023 NBA Play-In Tournament is Set

The 2022-23 NBA regular season is officially over, and now the play-in tournament is set to commence. While the top six seeds are locked in for the playoffs, the No. 7 and 8 seeds will be determined this week. So how does the play-in work? The winners of the 7-8 games will advance to the playoffs as the No. 7 seed, while the losers face the winners of the No.9 and 10 games. The winner of this series will go on into the playoffs as the No. 8 seed. 

The losers of the 9-10 games, of course, will be disqualified from post-season contention. Check out the full schedule below, and catch the games on ESPN, and TNT. 

Tuesday, April 11

Game 1: No. 7 Heat vs. No. 8 Hawks, 7:30 p.m. ET, TNT

Game 2: No. 7 Lakers vs. No. 8 Timberwolves, 10 p.m. ET, TNT

Wednesday, April 12

Game 3: No. 9 Raptors vs. No. 10 Bulls, 7 p.m. ET, ESPN

Game 4: No. 9 Pelicans vs. No. 10 Thunder, 9:30 p.m., ESPN

Friday, April 14

Game 5: Winner of Game 3 vs. Loser of Game 1, 7/7:30 p.m. ET, TNT

Game 6: Winner of Game 4 vs. Loser of Game 2, 9:30/10 p.m. ET, ESPN
