Tom Brady is “Retiring for Good”

Tom Brady

Tom Brady is retiring again. This time it’s “for good.”

Taking to Instagram and Twitter, Brady released a video statement announcing his decision. Jokingly, he acknowledged the obvious – this isn’t the first time he’s made such an announcement. However, he assures us that he is, indeed, fo’real.

Good morning. I’ll get to the point right away. I’m retiring, for good,” he states, getting right to the point. “I know the process was a pretty big deal last time so when I woke up this morning I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first. I won’t be longwinded. You only get one super emotional retirement essay and I used mine up last year.”

I had to chuckle a little when he said that.

All funny stuff aside, however, Tom Brady truly has undeniably hit GOAT status. And there’s nothing funny about that. In his statement, Brady continues to thank his family, friends, and all the others who have helped him live his “absolute dream” throughout his NFL career.

At 45 years old, Tom Brady can finally hang up his jersey knowing that he’s the greatest quarterback in NFL history.

In case you missed it, watch his video statement below.
