BeyGOOD Foundation and Cécred have announced a new initiative to support salon business owners facing financial hardship. The program will award 37 grants of $10,000 each to qualifying applicants, with a total of $370,000 in funding available.
The effort aims to recognize and uplift licensed cosmetologists who are making a transformative impact in their communities—whether they rent a booth, run a full salon, or work from home.
To qualify, applicants must demonstrate financial need, be licensed for at least two years, and have a lease agreement or proof of salon ownership. A compelling personal statement is also required, outlining their impact and challenges. Businesses must have been operating for at least one year.
The application deadline is June 13, 2025.
