In a world teeming with ordinary aspirations, actor, model, and spiritual entrepreneur, Chaela Bre Ahari emerges as an extraordinary visionary. Her journey is a testament to unbridled passion and relentless determination. In this exclusive interview, we explore her captivating story and tireless pursuit of spiritual growth in the entertainment industry.

Chaela, could you recount the path that led you to embark on a career in acting and modeling?
I actually started in middle school when I participated in my debut play. I have always been interested in fine arts and performing arts since I was a kid. I was in the church choir and chorus in school. I also played the violin. I have always been interested in some form of performance arts, so I just thought I would give theater a try. The play was Beauty & The Beast, and I had an amazing experience being a part of it. The acting and performing created a spark for me. That was really the start of my passion for acting. From there, I decided that it was something I wanted to do.

In your diverse background, can you share an instance that stands out as particularly memorable or impactful?
I would say what stands out to me is becoming an entrepreneur and running a spiritual-based business like Soul Purge, especially offering spiritual services to people. That’s been a special experience for me because it’s the path that chose me. From a very young age, I have always been interested in spirituality, learning more about myself, and growing. But it was actually unexpected that I would take my interests and build a spiritual business where I would offer my gifts to other people while I was in school for acting. It was definitely a new path that chose me, and I eventually chose it as well.

The entertainment industry is renowned for its competitiveness. How do you navigate and cope with criticism in the age of social media?
I think that it will happen regardless of the nature of the business you may be in. I think that for me personally and for my kind of business; it is to be expected that there will be other people who also offer their gifts. I try not to focus on trying to be better than them or beating out my competition. I stay in my lane, only competing with myself and focusing on improving and expanding my gifts so I can help more people. I only want to cultivate and strengthen my connections with my clients. That’s the most important thing to me. It’s the reason they come back. When I get new clients, most of them are referred to me by my current clients. Keeping a good connection with them has been very crucial to growing my business. Regarding any competition that may offer similar services, I just do me and that’s what separates me from the rest.

As a person of influence for emerging talents in the industry, what guidance would you offer to individuals aspiring to make their mark and remain spiritually intact?
It is definitely a personal journey. To that end, I will say that you should definitely focus on yourself. Focus on your own personal growth and what you really want to do with your life. I do think that while some people may be inspired by what I do, it may not be the exact path they want for themselves, but they can still find success in whatever area they choose. That’s something that you have to really work on. You have to find something that you really want to do to contribute to the world that will also feed your soul. Hone in on yourself and your skills. I can tell you that you will definitely see results.

Now, when it comes to maintaining your personal spiritual alignment, do you ever feel pressure considering you work within the entertainment industry? Does it make it more difficult to remain centered?
For sure, it can definitely be a challenge to genuinely create a sense of balance. I’m going to be completely honest. I exist in different fields that conflict with each other. I feel pressure in both industries or areas of interest, spirituality, and the entertainment industry. I feel pressure, whether it is to appear a certain way, look a certain way, or do certain things. Some people may not like to see people who offer their gifts or see the fruits of those labors play out in front of them. They may not be a fan of my lifestyle or the results of the tremendous amount of work I have done to earn to live this way. They may not want to see that. They may have an idea of how spiritual people should live their lives or how they should look.
There is also pressure from the industry to look a certain way as well. There is definitely a lot of pressure on both sides. I just try to create a balance that works best for me. I do care about beauty and fashion. I do love traveling and certain luxuries in life. That’s who I am as a person. It doesn’t always have to be a ‘Chaela Bre the Spiritualist’ thing. It’s just me, Chaela Bre. There’s a spiritual aspect of who I am as well. I make sure to take care of myself, mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I have to take care and protect my own energy and protect my space. That’s a part of me as well. There are some things I agree with on both sides and some things I don’t. I just believe in being authentically me.

Do you find it easier to stay centered during your journey, having your mother, Lala Inuti Ahari, an expert in spirituality to guide you?
Yes, I say that is absolutely true. When some people embark on their spiritual journey, they are alone. I can say that it has definitely been a great blessing to get to know myself spiritually with my mom and my sisters. We are a very spiritual family. My mother is very understanding of my experiences, as she is navigating her own experiences at the same time. She also works in the entertainment industry, as do my sisters. I feel like we are all going through this together. It strengthens my connection with my family. We are a kind of family brand in spirituality and the entertainment industry, and we all have similar experiences.

If you don’t mind my asking, do you have a personal preference when it comes to acting in either television or film?
I prefer film, but I am definitely open to opportunities in television. I do like different areas in acting in general because the start of it all was theater. I will always have a place in my heart for theater no matter what. If I had to choose between television and film, I would definitely choose film.

Are there roles of a particular nature that you may prefer over others? Do you have a favorite type of character?
I love science fiction, anything sci-fi. I also love fantasy and action movies as well. While I love sci-fi, I am also into thrillers, but it would have to be something mind-boggling. I love those types of films.

What upcoming projects and collaborations can your fans expect and what excites you most about them?
As far as what they can look forward to, I have a lot of different things going on as far as my acting, modeling, and my spiritual businesses. On the spiritual side, they can definitely expect more expansion of Soul Purge in a lot of different ways. I run my business mostly via social media and it has grown a lot. My ultimate goal is to transform it into tangible items, like apparel or merchandise, so they don’t just hear about it online, they can see it in the real world. As far as modeling goes, I am actually in New York right now for Fashion Week. I will be walking in a show within the next few days. They can expect that. I have a photoshoot for Urban Magazine. My followers can be excited about that. When it comes to acting, I am getting more involved in commercial acting so they can expect to see more often promoting different things soon. I have been connecting with different directors in Atlanta and Los Angeles, discussing potential projects. I guess I can say they can expect a lot.
