Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook has been fined $25,000 for directing profanity and threatening language to a fan, it was announced today by Kiki VanDeWeghe, Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.
The conflict began when Utah Jazz fan Shane Keisel yelled, “Get down on your knees like you’re used to!”
The Utah Jazz previously announced that the Keisel has been permanently banned from Vivint Smart Home Arena.
The incident occurred during the Thunder’s 98-89 road victory over the Utah Jazz on March 11.
