R&B artist Xavier Omär has released HunnyMoon Mountain, a new album that explores the highs and lows of love, heartbreak, and personal growth. Distributed by RBC/BMG, the project is now available on all digital streaming platforms.
The album opens in the middle of a romantic journey and traces the difficult path upward. “The album begins at the midpoint of the mountain, when the going gets tough. But it’s the climb that defines the story,” Omär said. “It’s a testament to the struggle for connection, even when surrender seems like the easier path.”
Omär released the Reggae-influenced single “Take Her Love” alongside the album. The track includes the lyrics, I told my baby I didn’t need her — that was foolish. Lost my head like a two-seater with no roof. Now she won’t let me back to apologize. Set against a desert backdrop, the video depicts emotional wreckage and the toll of taking love for granted.
The album also includes “Afraid, Pt. 2,” a follow-up to Omär’s 2017 track “Afraid,” along with the duet “Little Mistakes,” the introspective “Peace In My Mind,” and “Love Again.”
Guest vocalists on the album include Jai’len Josey, Divine Lightbody, Xenia Manasseh, and Samoht. Production credits include DJ Camper, J. Robb, Southpaw Swade, and Gareth Donkin.
Omär, a vocalist, songwriter, and producer, continues to expand his place in alternative R&B through layered narratives and stylistic range.
