BKTHERULA has released her new single “Dumb Shit,” the latest preview of her upcoming album Lucy, set to arrive June 27 on Warner Records.
The track, available now on all major streaming platforms, features a bass-heavy production by SimmyAuto and marks a key moment in the rollout for Lucy. It follows BK’s recent single “BBGIRLGOSLOW,” also produced by SimmyAuto.
“Dumb Shit was honestly just a conversation I was having with the microphone…raw thoughts, questions, suggestions, and a whole lot of dumb shit,” BK said.
A music video directed by YungTacc accompanies the release. The visual centers BK in a series of narrative-driven scenes designed to reflect the track’s raw tone and lyrical spontaneity.
